Workshop 1 – Waste Less, Wear More!
Swap your unwanted clothes, learn more about sustainable fashion, find your personal style and colour palette and discover fashion fixes and tricks for your old clothes
Workshop 2 – Repair and Restyle
Learn how to mend, decorate and dye your clothes, and simple ways to change style or size. Try out machine or hand sewing and learn a new skill for life!
Workshop 3 – Remake and Upcycle
Using old and worn-out clothes to make beautiful new things – quilts, bags, cushions, rugs, toys, and more!

REFASHION IS COMING TO SANDWELL!
We’re excited to announce that we have been awarded funding by Sandwell Council’s Vision 2030 Climate Change fund, to run a series of 10 Refashion workshops in Smethwick and Bearwood.
Workshops will be hosted at Thimblemill Library in Smethwick and Bearwood Community Hub, starting in October 2022. Workshops will be free to Sandwell residents, and offered on a pay-as-you-feel basis for others – recommended £5 per session.

Refashion workshops and projects
Refashion is our current project, focusing on the fashion industry and the clothes we wear, finding ways to make better choices for people and planet while sharing our love of clothes and style.
As always, our sessions will be social, positive, creative and hands-on, finding fun ways to get the fashion fix we need without harming the world.

Find out more about how clothes are made, and what happens when we throw them away
Find our own style, to suit our lives, bodies and ideas, without having to follow fashion
Learn great new skills like sewing, dyeing, colour theory, buying second hand, styling and alterations
Enjoy the fun and excitement of dressing up, dressing down, colour, fabrics, style and feeling amazing, without worrying that we are harming people or planet
Make new friends in a relaxed, sociable setting, share your love of clothes, style and creativity!
